Operations ManagerHanes Geo Components (HGC) in Houston, TX, a division of Leggett & Platt Inc., is seeking an Operations Manager. HGC is the leading distributor of geosynthetics, erosion control, and soil stabilization products used in the construction industry.Responsibilities/DutiesManage shipping and production employeesEstablish a shipping, receiving, and production schedule dailyEstablish inbound/outbound logistics dailyCoordinate with corporate purchasing team for material planningsDirect supervision of employeesAdditional duties may be requiredQualificationsProven successful warehouse and production management or supervisory experienceAdequate computer skills for ticket printing, inventory tracking, shipping reporting, and employee time reportingMust be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite- or comparable systemsMath skills for production calculationsExcellent communication skillsThe qualified candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in supervision and provide exceptional leadership.
