Clinical EMR Specialist, RN
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Schedule: Full Time, Monday to Friday
FLSA Status: Exempt
Salary Range: $85,000 -$92,000 annually, based on experience

Grace Hospice is looking for a Clinical EMR Specialist, RN who enjoys technology, problem-solving, and finding better ways to work. This role is ideal for a nurse who understands clinical workflows and is excited to make an impact through EMR optimization, data, training, compliance, and technology.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as a clinical and functional EMR expert.
• Improve workflows, documentation, and system efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex EMR issues and recommend solutions.
• Develop reports, dashboards, audits, and analytics.
• Support documentation quality, HIPAA, and compliance efforts.
• Train and support clinical and administrative teams.
• Partner with leaders and vendors on EMR improvements.
• Explore AI, automation, and emerging technologies that support smarter operations.

What We’re Looking For

• Current RN license required.
• 2+ years of healthcare software or EMR experience preferred.
• MatrixCare experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Comfortable with technology, data, and process improvement.
• Organized, collaborative, proactive, and eager to help others succeed.
