Automotive Service Advisor

Automotive Service Advisor We are looking for a Service Advisor to join our team. Responsibilities include greeting customers, listening to their needs, and scheduling appointments as needed. They may also set up loaner cars and verify insurance before maintenance is scheduled. Benefits: * Competitive Pay (Based on Experience) * Health, Medical and Dental * Paid time off and vacation * Growth opportunities * Employee vehicle purchase plans * Family owned and operated * Long term job security * Monday through Friday (No Weekends) Responsibilities: * Greet customers promptly * Obtain customer and vehicle information * Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer * Determine and recommend maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle * Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts * Establish follow up times * Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently * Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order * Explain all completed work and charges to customers Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent * Past experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager or service consultant * Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus * Ability to identify the problem quickly * Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction * Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs * Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications * Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Positive, friendly attitude Equal Opportunity Employer Statement: We are an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
