The family resides in Silicon Valley and maintains secondary residences nearby. The household is supported by a professionally managed family office, with legal payroll, written policies, guaranteed hours, and a dedicated household team. The ideal candidate will be organized and thoughtful in their approach, treating safety, confidentiality, and flexibility as top priorities.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This person will be calm and even-keeled, skilled at creating and maintaining a quiet environment for family spaces, and able to pivot as priorities change. They will support reading, math, manners, and executive function alongside outdoor play, museum learning, and age-appropriate independence. They will work closely with the parents as the primary support for all child care needs, within a structured schedule and guaranteed hours, with a willingness to learn and grow within the role. The ideal candidate understands when to engage and when to step back, is warm without being overly familiar, and can create consistency for the children while adapting easily to a dynamic family schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Treat the children's safety as the #1 priority at all times, with attentive supervision and readiness to respond with CPR, first aid, or an EpiPen when needed Provide a safe, positive, and stimulating environment for all three children Transport the children to and from school and other activities as needed Engage the children in educational and fun indoor and outdoor play Provide structured and unstructured opportunities for learning and development Lead one hour of math practice every day with each child, and keep practice regular in each child's other hobbies and activities Coordinate school and homework: help the children stay organized for school, homework, reading, projects, backpacks, uniforms, library books, etc. Support executive function through routines, organization, time management, and preparation for transitions, increasing age-appropriate independence over time Support healthy sibling dynamics and emotional regulation, encouraging respectful communication, conflict resolution, and patience between siblings Support family travel: pack and unpack, research and plan children's meals and activities, and lead structured in-flight activities Prepare in advance for travel and set up each destination: ensure hotel rooms and residences are child-ready, and coordinate the children's schedules, meals, activities, car seats, and medications/essentials Travel with the family as needed Assist the children in making gifts and cards for family birthdays and holidays Bathe and dress the children, including changing diapers and potty training Read to and with the children Administer medicine when needed, with parental consent Organize the children's rooms, play areas, belongings, and school and activity items. This role covers child-related organization only, not general housekeeping. Ensure all homes are optimally set up for the children Coordinate closely with the household team, including chefs, housekeepers, and other nannies Maintain strict discretion and confidentiality about the family, children, homes, schedules, and travel; never post or share photos or information about the family on social media Send nightly summaries to parents covering the highlights of the day Support research and registration for enrichment activities, sports, and camps

REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

7–10+ years of professional nanny experience with UHNW families Experience with three children, busy households, and personal/work-combination travel Early childhood or elementary education background Strong references from long-term families

CERTIFICATIONS & LEGAL

Pediatric CPR/First Aid certified and trained in EpiPen use (certification course can be provided) Legally able to work in the U.S.; valid passport and ability to travel internationally Valid driver's license (driving is a requirement of the position) Background check required following a conditional offer, conducted in accordance with applicable law

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
