Subcontract Administrator I (Contract)

About the Role The Subcontracts Administrator I is responsible for managing the lifecycle of subcontracts from initial solicitation through contract close‑out. This role includes developing subcontract agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, negotiating contract terms, and managing supplier relationships. Responsibilities Prepare, negotiate, and administer subcontracts. Support the monitoring of subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with contract terms. Maintain subcontract files and ensure proper documentation. Provide support for the resolution of subcontractor issues and disputes. Develop subcontract agreements in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Manage supplier relationships to ensure effective communication and performance. Assist in the close‑out process of subcontracts, ensuring all terms and conditions have been met. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience). 0‑2 years of experience (entry‑level). Knowledgeable of Microsoft suite of products. Basic understanding of subcontracting principles and processes. Familiarity with standard subcontracting terminology and documentation. Awareness of industry regulations and compliance requirements. Basic project management and administrative skills. Good communication skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. Preferred Qualifications Experience in subcontract administration or a related field. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with contract management software or systems.
