This is a challenging, high-visibility assignment focused on driving execution to deliver on critical schedule commitments. The Program Manager is responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of the Training System development. The Program Manager will act as a primary customer interface (LM Aeronautics and the F-35 Joint Program Office) during the development phase. The Program Manager will manage program execution, staffing demand, risks and opportunities, and process improvement initiatives. The role includes working collaboratively across the F-35 Training Modernization portfolio to increase throughput for new capability delivery and minimize training system lifecycle costs. The Program Manager will support Senior Leadership strategic initiatives.We believe that flexibility is the future of work. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
