Seasonal Team Member - Ice Cream Shack of Sunnyland Location: 2306 Washington Rd, Washington, IL Position Type: Seasonal | Entry-Level | Part-Time About Us Ice Cream Shack of Sunnyland is a locally loved seasonal ice cream shop serving the Washington community. We pride ourselves on fast, friendly service, a high-energy team environment, and creating memorable experiences for our guests. We are looking for dependable, motivated individuals who enjoy working with people and thrive in a fast-paced setting. What We're Looking For • Our ideal candidate is: • Self-driven and takes initiative • Punctual and dependable • Positive, energetic, and team-oriented • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Schedule & Requirements • Must be at least 16 years old at time of hire • Must be available weekends • Must be available at least 3 days per week • Willingness to work flexible seasonal hours Key Responsibilities • Greet every customer warmly and professionally • Learn and confidently explain menu items and make recommendations • Provide attentive, efficient, and friendly service • Accurately operate POS systems, registers, and payment terminals • Handle cash and perform basic math functions accurately • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines • Support team members during busy periods • Complete additional duties as assigned Physical Requirements • Ability to stand for extended periods • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted Why Join Ice Cream Shack of Sunnyland? • Fun, team-oriented work environment • Valuable customer service and teamwork experience • Fast-paced atmosphere that builds strong work ethic • Opportunity to serve and connect with the local community Ice Cream Shack of Sunnyland is an equal opportunity employer and values a diverse and inclusive workplace.
