Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 11; Number of Staff – 34; Type of staff: Day Shift – 1 charge, 1 surgical tech, 4 RNs, 1 US; Night Shift – 1 charge, 1 surgical tech, 4 RNs; Patient Ratios – AWHONN; Type of equipment – Standard GE L&D fetal monitoring, wireless monitoring (NOVII), Baxter IV Pumps; EMR – Meditech Expanse and GE CPN Connect

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

Strong independent L&D skills (cervical checks, OR circulator, IV start, med management to include oxytocin and magnesium).

Labor Management Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

Device placement (IUPC, FSE); Newborn transition

List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Labor management; Vaginal and c-section deliveries; Pre-op/PACU

Best personality Fit: Open and friendly. Able to manage independently but with a team spirit.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: NRP, BLS, ACLS, EFM
