Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' speech, language, and psychological needs.
• Develop and implement personalized education programs to support students with diverse needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create comprehensive support strategies.
• Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language challenges.
• Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions for students requiring psychological support.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
• Offer training and resources to staff and families on best practices for supporting students with special needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and interventions.
• Stay updated on the latest research and techniques in special education and bilingual education.
• Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment for all students.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
• Current state licensure or certification in relevant fields (SLP, Psychologist, Special Education).
• Experience working in educational settings, especially with diverse student populations.
• Strong knowledge of speech-language disorders and special education regulations.
• Proficiency in bilingual education is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adept in assessing and developing appropriate educational strategies.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Passion for supporting and advocating for students with unique challenges.
• Familiarity with assistive technologies and resources for special education.
