Inventory Control Coordinator - HS Supply Chain Admin - Full Time 8 Hour Days

Inventory Control Coordinator Location: Los Angeles, CA Full Time – 8 Hour Days (Non‑Exempt, Non‑Union) Responsibilities Provide support with all medical supplies and equipment for all hospital departments. Manage the inventory control system, maintain product data, rectify miscalculations, review and analyze operational results, report findings to management, and make recommendations for improvement as necessary. Evaluate performance on shift responsibilities and overall competence in inventory management duties. Essential Duties Maintain appropriate inventory levels for all general store locations using the IMMS system ROP/ROQ levels. Process recommended daily orders generated by IMMS. Perform daily count verification of all general store locations, including walkthroughs before placing orders. Conduct weekly cycle counts of general store locations and report results to supervisors. Execute bi‑weekly bin counts on a revolving schedule to verify general store counts each month. Ensure all general store stock is clearly labeled with IMMS number and bin location. Record all additions and deletions to general store inventory. Process general store receipts, verify accuracy of orders, and file packing lists. Report receipt discrepancies to buyers and department supervisors. Rotate general store stock to minimize outdating supplies and monitor for outdated supplies. Notify supervisors of any back orders promptly to maintain stock availability. Process department non‑stock receipts, which includes sorting supplies, verifying them, and delivering them. Maintain Omnicell stock with all additions, deletions, and adjustments as instructed by supervisors. Keep the warehouse neat and orderly on a daily basis. Maintain perpetual inventory system through proper management and analysis of reorder reports, in‑house census, and departmental needs. Ensure required recommended orders are performed daily to maintain inventory levels and minimize stock‑outs; return overstock promptly. Ensure cycle counts are performed weekly for the warehouse and report findings to the Director. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school education or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years inventory control experience. Experience operating a box truck for deliveries and a forklift. Thorough knowledge of all medical supplies used in the facility. Knowledge of sterile technique as it applies to supply handling. Ability to speak, read, and write in English. Demonstrated behavior conducive to excellent customer service. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of computers and familiarity with material management systems. Required Licenses / Certifications Valid California driver’s license. Fire Life Safety Training (Los Angeles City). If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days and renewed before expiration.
