2nd Shift CNC Machinist | $23-26 an Hour + $2.00 Shift Differential! Join a growing manufacturing team where your skills directly impact high-quality production. We're looking for a dependable CNC Machinist who takes pride in precision work and is comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Schedule: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM 11:00 PM) Includes shift differential + weekend opportunities Duties: Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts based on blueprints and work instructions Make tool, offset, and machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency Read and interpret prints, job routings, and specs with minimal supervision Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and other precision tools Monitor quality and identify any non-conforming parts or processes Complete production and quality documentation accurately Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area (5S standards) Communicate with team members and leadership to keep production running smoothly Support continuous improvement efforts and learn multiple machines as needed Must Haves: 2+ years of CNC machining or manufacturing experience Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team Nice to Haves: Experience running multiple CNC machines or rotating between machines Familiarity with 5S or lean manufacturing environments Work Environment: Fast-paced manufacturing facility working with metal or graphite materials Physical role standing, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs, and occasional climbing Weekend availability required (typically 2 weekends per month) Why Apply: Competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision 401(k) with company match Paid time off and additional leave programs Tuition reimbursement and growth opportunities Stable company with a strong focus on safety and employee development Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Solon, OH.
