Job Description Commercial Data Strategies Manager will lead business data, system, and infrastructure projects that support the DePuy Synthes Commercial Data Environments and tool sets. This role focuses on data integrity, aligned standards, and identifying data gaps to ensure accurate and timely data delivery. The Manager reports to the Director or Senior Manager in Data Strategies and partners with other managers and supervisors for base business hand‑offs. Purpose Commercial Operations, Data Strategies supports the design and implementation of data systems and analysis that provide a strategic framework for the Commercial organization. This enables sales execution, business reporting, sales force effectiveness, and productivity with clear alignment across system applications. Job Responsibilities Provide leadership and mentorship to the associates within the Commercial Data Strategies organization. Ensure team members possess the technical and business skills needed to meet objectives. Hold team members accountable for goals aligned with organizational imperatives. Maintain strong relationships with IT partners and develop their business knowledge of Commercial Data Strategies processes. Lead business requirements definition and gathering for programs collaborating with all Data Warehouses in scope. Partner with IT to ensure system integration, data loads, governance, and logic, developing appropriate controls for interim loads. Collaborate with MDM on data management, aligning customer definitions such as UCN, INDV, and legacy information. Work with the Data Integrity Manager and IT product owner on comprehensive alignment to the IT roadmap for additional systems. Focus on field deployment changes that impact analytical reporting and enterprise environments. Communicate business issues or opportunities to the next management level. Ensure subordinates follow Company guidelines related to Health, Safety, and Environmental practices. Ensure personal and Company compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Strategic Impact Scale the DePuy Synthes Commercial Data ecosystem into a global best‑in‑class medallion architecture. Strengthen surgeon relationships and KOL engagement across orthopaedic business units by leveraging data to improve decision making. Enable data‑driven community insights that inform broader commercial and clinical strategies. Support the establishment of DePuy Synthes' digital brand presence and surgeon engagement model as a standalone company. Strong data management experience. Minimum 5 years’ work experience, preferably related. Minimum 3 years’ people‑management experience. Proficiency in PC software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Windows). Experience developing training materials and mentoring others. Experience developing and leading testing strategies. Knowledge of analytical tools (Tableau, Qlik, Cognos, etc.). Leadership, collaboration, communication, and analytical skills. Ability to lead cross‑functional teams without authority and manage multiple conflicting priorities. Collaboration and teaming in a reporting structure. Strong business and technical intuition. Strong project management skills. Proactive problem spotting and opportunity sensing. Experience with commercial systems (Compensation, Sales Analytics, Contracting systems) and data access methods. Excellent verbal and written presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, IT, or Business-related field. Experience with Field Sales, Information Management/IT, Contracting or Marketing organizations. Experience with process improvement tools (SFE, LEAN/Six Sigma). Ability to interact with senior management and exercise independent judgment. Results oriented with proven success in creative problem solving and partnership. Benefits include: Vacation: 120 hours per calendar year. Sick time: 40 hours per calendar year (48 hours in Colorado, 56 hours in Washington). Holiday pay, including floating holidays: 13 days per calendar year. Work, personal, and family time: up to 40 hours per calendar year. Parental leave: 480 hours within one year of birth/adoption/foster care. Bereavement leave: 240 hours for immediate family (40 hours for extended family) per calendar year. Caregiver leave: 80 hours in a 52‑week rolling period; 10 days. Volunteer leave: 32 hours per calendar year. Military spouse time‑off: 80 hours per calendar year.
