Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit 08/27/2025 Contract Active Job Description: Job Summary: The client is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on a travel assignment. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver patient care in the Progressive Care Unit in accordance with hospital policies and professional nursing standards • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans • Monitor and assess patients, administer medications, and update documentation • Respond to patient needs and clinical changes in condition • Float to other units as required (up to 3 times per shift based on staffing needs) • Work every other weekend as part of the schedule Required Qualifications: • Active RN license in the state of Rhode Island or compact license • Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a PCU or similar setting • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts • Willingness to float to other units within the facility • Ability to adapt in a union hospital environment where travelers float first Preferred Qualifications: • Prior travel nursing experience • Experience in a unionized hospital environment Email ID * This field is required Please enter valid emailId.
