Boys & Girls Clubs of the Greater Triad
Job Description:The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Greater Triad is looking to hire certified teachers to support our local youth in-need of additional academic assistance. Job duties will include Reading tutoring for grades K-5, also oversight of use of online educational (Age of Learning/IXL) remediation programming.Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 2:30pm-3:30pm, plus 1.5 additional hours per week for planning. Roughly 4.5 hours total per week.Pay: $30.00 per hr. MUST BE A CERTIFIED NORTH CAROLINA TEACHER.Job Type: Part-timeEducation:Bachelor's (Required)License/Certification:CPR Certification (Preferred)Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)Work Location: In personThe ideal candidate will be passionate for the job with an ability to reach out to students and create a relationship of mutual trust. They will know how to organize a class and make learning an easy and meaningful process. The goal is to help cultivate the students interest in education and be their dedicated ally in the entire process of learning and development. Retired teachers welcome to apply!
