Court Social Worker - Children’s Services

Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced and dedicated Court Social Worker to join their client's dynamic Children’s Services team located at North Wales. This is a pivotal role focused on delivering high-quality assessments and care planning for children subject to care proceedings, with additional responsibilities relating toadoption planning. What will your responsibilities be? Complete robust and timely assessments of children and their families to inform final care planning and permanency decisions. Prepare and present clear, evidence-based reports for court, and provide confident, professional evidence in legal proceedings. Work within the Public Law Outline (PLO) and adhere to the 26-week timeframe for care proceedings. Collaborate with legal teams, guardians, and multi-agency professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children. Contribute to adoption planning, including matching and transition work where appropriate. Qualifications & Experience To be successful in this role you must have, Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration. Proven experience working within the Court arena, including giving evidence and managing complex care proceedings. Strong understanding of the PLO process, statutory frameworks, and permanency planning. Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills. Able to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure. Why Liquid Personnel?
