Sr PL/SQL Developer

job summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior PL/SQL Developer to support Trade Surveillance and Compliance platforms. This role is responsible for designing and implementing high-performance database solutions, building data quality controls, and enabling regulatory reporting and monitoring capabilities across trade lifecycle data. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in PL/SQL, data engineering, and financial markets, with a focus on surveillance, compliance, and data governance.

qualifications:
Required:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

10+ years of strong hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development

Advanced SQL skills, including analytics functions and performance tuning

Strong understanding of database internals (indexing, partitions, optimizer behavior)

Experience working with large-scale data warehouse or data lake environments

Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for database object deployments (PL/SQL, DDL, scripts)

Working knowledge of Python or Shell scripting for automation

Familiarity with trade lifecycle (orders, executions, etc)
