Accounts Payable Specialist – Construction Industry Summary We are partnering with a well-established and growing construction-related company seeking a detail‑oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their accounting team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys working with vendors, project managers, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. The ideal candidate will have strong AP experience within construction, subcontracting, manufacturing, or project-based environments and be comfortable handling heavy invoice volume and multiple priorities. Benefits & Extras Direct-hire, full-time stability High-visibility role during a major growth phase Collaborative, team-first office environment Exposure to evolving accounting operations Compensation Up to $60,000 annually , depending on experience What You’ll Be Doing Process and manage accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently Match invoices to supporting documentation and resolve discrepancies Maintain vendor records and respond to billing inquiries Support month-end close activities and account reconciliations Assist with general accounting tasks as processes are internalized Collaborate with internal teams during system or process transitions Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures What You’ll Need to Be Considered Hands‑on experience processing accounts payable in a professional environment Comfort working within an ERP system (JD Edwards or similar preferred) Ability to manage invoice volume and shifting priorities Background in construction, utilities, or project-based accounting (plus) How To Apply We’d love to see your resume, but we don’t need it to have a conversation.
