We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with pharmacies and patients
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Document in electronic medical record the patient's vitals, medications, and questions as required by Medicare.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant
- Bilingual- English/Spanish
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must have previous experience working with electronic medical records
- Phlebotomy experience preferred but not required.
