Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our growing team. This role is responsible for receiving incoming customer equipment, preparing products for shipment, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring accurate documentation throughout the shipping and receiving process. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

Receive incoming customer equipment and verify shipments against packing lists and documentation.

Inspect packages for damage and accurately record received items.

Prepare calibrated equipment for outgoing shipments.

Package products securely to prevent damage during transit.

Create shipping labels and process shipments through various carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.).

Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.

Organize and stock incoming materials and supplies.

Coordinate with laboratory and administrative staff to ensure timely processing of customer orders.

Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization.

Follow company quality procedures and ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Previous shipping and receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.

Experience with UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, or similar shipping software is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the day.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Dependable attendance and a positive work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a manufacturing, laboratory, calibration, or technical service environment.

Familiarity with inventory management systems.

Experience handling sensitive or precision equipment.
