GEORGE SHERMAN CORPORATION has immediate opening for Plumbing Installation Apprentice in Sussex County and the surrounding areas.

Successful applicants should have a desire to learn or some knowledge of Plumbing systems and applications, as well as a working knowledge of industry safety standards, best practices, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills. Applicants must also be willing to continually learn about the latest in Plumbing technology and application.

Requirements:

• Willingness to learn about the Plumbing installations
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check & a DOT drug test
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Possess a positive attitude & have a good attention for details
• Plumbing basic & specific hand tools
• Customer service skills & the ability to effectively communicate with customers

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work in extreme conditions (Hot, Cold, Dirty, Wet, etc.)
• Must be able to bend, reach, squat, kneel, crawl
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to work in tight or high spaces
