We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchaser to support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for forecasting demand and purchasing raw materials, components, tooling, equipment, and other supplies needed for daily operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, experience working with suppliers, and the ability to manage purchase orders and inventory effectively.ResponsibilitiesPurchase raw materials, tooling, components, equipment, office supplies, and other operational materials.Generate and manage purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.Track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and accurate receiving.Maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers and vendors.Communicate with vendors to resolve pricing, delivery, quality, and other purchasing issues.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse to maintain adequate stock.Assist with negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings.Source and evaluate new suppliers and assist with vendor qualification.Maintain accurate purchasing records, contracts, and supplier correspondence.Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies, regulations, and industry standards.Identify and help mitigate procurement risks.Follow all Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental procedures.Perform other related duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Previous purchasing experience in a raw materials, manufacturing, or component environment is preferred.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong interpersonal and vendor relationship management skills.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.Please note that there is a background check and a drug screening for the position.
