Assistant Community Manager

As the Assistant Property Manager, you will work hand-in-hand with the Property Manager to ensure the smooth daily operations, financial health, and physical upkeep of two communities. This is a hands-on role that balances office administration with active community oversight.Key ResponsibilitiesResident Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact for residents, handling inquiries, resolving complaints, and enforcing community rules and regulations with professionalism and tact.Leasing & Operations: Assist with home sales, lot leases, background checks, and the onboarding of new residents.Rent Collection: Assist in collecting rent, managing delinquencies, processing notices, and maintaining accurate financial records.Community Maintenance: Conduct regular property walkthroughs to ensure the communities meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal. Coordinate with maintenance staff and vendors for repairs.Administrative Support: Maintain organized digital and physical resident files, prepare reports, and assist the Property Manager with legal/eviction proceedings when necessary.Qualifications & RequirementsExperience: Minimum of 12 years of Property Management experience is strictly required. (Experience in manufactured housing or mobile home communities is a huge plus!)Communication: Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Yardi, RentManager, AppFolio) and MS Office (Excel, Word).Mobility: A valid drivers license and reliable transportation, as you will be split-managing two local communities.Mindset: A problem-solver who can work independently, multitask, and stay calm under pressure.
