*Location: Des Moines, IA

*Role Summary:

• Seeking Construction General Laborers to support demolition and environmental remediation projects throughout Central Iowa. This hands-on role includes debris removal, site cleanup, material handling, and assisting crews at various commercial job sites.

• Assist with interior and structural demolition projects.
• Perform site cleanup, sweeping, vacuuming, and debris removal.
• Load and haul materials using wheelbarrows and other equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Help load and unload tools, equipment, and materials.
• Work as part of a crew to complete daily project goals.
• Travel to different job sites as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
• Maintain reliable attendance and availability for overtime and Saturday work.

• 6+ months of construction, demolition, general labor, landscaping, or similar experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs when needed.
• Comfortable working 8-12 hour days in indoor and outdoor environments.
• Reliable transportation to the shop each morning.
• Ability to perform physical work including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and ability to follow directions.

• Demolition and environmental remediation projects throughout Iowa.
• Primarily local work with occasional overnight travel (hotel and per diem provided).
• Typical schedule starts around 7:00 a.m. and may extend based on project needs.
• Frequent Saturday work during busy periods.
• Physically demanding work in varying weather conditions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, IA.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
