Account Manager

Job Duties:

  • Recording daily transactions in the appropriate company account ledgers and classes in QuickBooks Desktop.
  • Reviewing account ledgers for accuracy and correcting errors, such as duplication or typos.
  • Prepare monthly invoices for clients.
  • Manage and record vendor bills and bill payments.
  • Monthly bank account reconciliations.
  • Organizing receipts, invoices and physical copies of financial documents.
  • Check emails daily.

Required Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting methods, including double-entry bookkeeping, accrual accounting and cash accounting.
  • Strong math skills to calculate debits and credits to accounts and complete account reconciliations.
  • Experience entering transactions into accounting software programs.
  • Analytical skills to identify errors or discrepancies.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members.
