Sr Analyst, Operations Strategy

As a Senior Analyst, Operations Strategy, you will play a critical role in supporting our high-priority, cross-functional operational and strategic projects for Oak Street Health, with a focus on improving center and service operations. Key responsibilities include completing data analysis to derive insights on operational performance, leading business case creation, and supporting strategy development and implementation planning. The Sr. Analyst will report into Lead Director, Operations Strategy & Enablement, and will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams and field partners. Role Description The Sr. Analyst, Operations Strategy role supports high-priority cross-functional operational projects – spanning from service operations projects to field enablement. The Sr. Analyst, Operations Strategy will report into the Director, Clinical Operations Strategy and operate with moderate guidance. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, enjoys solving challenging problems, uses data to drive insights, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The role should champion collaboration by proactively identifying and sharing challenges. This role requires collaboration across teams within Operations and other corporate functions (e.g., Population Health, Clinical Health Services), as well as partnerships with clinical and operational field leaders, and regular communication with key partners. Prepare materials and insights for senior leadership. Core Responsibilities Complete analysis and build reports to derive insights on Oak Street’s operational performance, identify opportunities to improve results, and ensure progress towards annual performance targets. Work with cross-functional teams to improve operational performance and proactively identify solutions for problems. Support implementation planning and rollout, assess impact on center, care teams, and central operations (e.g., call center), and support operational strategy development to minimize disruptions. Convey updates effectively through reports, dashboards, and presentations to field leaders, care teams, and leadership. Track progress against key initiatives, milestones, and outcomes; surface risks and opportunities proactively. Act as a bridge between field support teams and centralized patient support functions to ensure alignment and smooth transitions. Other duties as assigned. What are we looking for? 2–5 years of relevant experience in consulting, healthcare, population health, provider-facing operations, or related fields. Proven ability to build trust and credibility with diverse stakeholder groups across levels and functions. Quick learner who is comfortable with a high level of ambiguity. Demonstrated track record of solving complex, ambiguous problems with practical, results-oriented solutions. Strong financial and analytical skills, including experience developing business cases, ROI, and financial analyses. Exceptional ability to synthesize large volumes of information into clear, concise insights and recommendations. Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40 Time Type: Full time Pay Range: $46,988.00 - $112,200.00 The typical pay range for this role is the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
