Starting compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and CPA credentials Full-time position Direct access to and collaboration with the COO and CEO Opportunity to take real ownership of the company's accounting and financial reporting Why You’ll Love It Here Join a growing home services company built around quality craftsmanship, reliability, and strong customer relationships Make an impact beyond basic bookkeeping by helping leadership understand profitability, cash flow, financial performance, and business trends Help build and improve the financial systems and processes that will support Bradley Mechanical's continued growth Bring new ideas to the table, including accounting automation, reporting integrations, dashboards, and technology-driven process improvements Work closely with company leadership instead of being buried behind layers of corporate bureaucracy Gain exposure to multiple service lines, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical operations Your New Role Own general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close processes Prepare accurate financial statements, management reports, job costing reports, and financial dashboards Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and daily cash flow monitoring Maintain accounting practices consistent with GAAP and support tax filings and S-corporation reporting requirements Partner with outside tax preparers and auditors on annual filings and audits Analyze job profitability and financial performance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical service lines Provide financial analysis that helps leadership make informed pricing and operational decisions Maintain strong internal controls, accounting documentation, and financial compliance processes Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows through automation and better technology Use accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools to turn financial data into actionable business insights Active CPA license required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 3 to 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, and month-end/year-end close Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and dashboards Ability to analyze financial statements, job costing, cash flow, profitability, and financial KPIs Ability to communicate financial results and variances clearly to non-financial leadership Strong aptitude for learning new accounting and business software and troubleshooting technology Experience with ServiceTitan or comparable field-service management software is preferred Experience with reporting or workflow automation tools such as Excel Power Query, Zapier, or API-connected dashboards is preferred Accounting experience in construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, home services, or the skilled trades is preferred Experience developing or maintaining financial dashboards and KPI reporting tools is preferred Bradley Mechanical is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
