Location: Downtown Chicago, IL | 100% Onsite
Schedule: Monday-Friday, daytime hours
Job Description:
- Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls
- Manage a portfolio of accounts and outstanding balances
- Speak with customers regarding personal, business, and use-tax accounts
- Negotiate payment arrangements and potential solutions
- Document conversations and account activity accurately
- Navigate challenging conversations professionally
- Maintain compliance with applicable collection policies and regulation
Looking for:
- High school diploma required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Excellent verbal communication and computer skills
- Comfortable handling approximately 100–150 calls per day
- Comfortable working with difficult or frustrated customers
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Previous collections, credit, billing, or high-volume call center experience is highly preferred
Additional details:
- Monday-Friday only
- No weekend shifts
- First two weeks of training are 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Potential schedules afterward include 8:00-5:00, 8:30-5:30, or 9:00-6:00
