Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift: 3x12-Hour (18:00 - 16:30) Job Description The Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) provides high-quality care to patients in a critical setting. The nurse is responsible for patient monitoring, administration of medications, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients. Responsibilities Monitor and assess patient conditions in a PCU setting with a patient ratio of 1:4. Manage care for diverse patient populations, including adults and geriatrics. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor for effectiveness. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions. Maintain accurate patient records using the Epic charting system. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years' nursing experience with previous charge experience. Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS. Current Registered Nurse license required; compact license must be in hand at submission. Experience with the Epic charting system is mandatory. Why ARMStaffing?
