Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced OR Circulator to provide optimal perioperative care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The role involves ensuring patient safety and maintaining sterile procedures throughout surgical operations across multiple campus locations.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assist during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and supporting surgical team members.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in patient condition.
• Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly.
• Document all intraoperative activities accurately and in compliance with hospital policies.
• Float between campuses as needed, supporting different surgical teams and departments.
• Adhere to travel and compliance standards, including Tier2 travel requirements and On-Call expectations.

Qualifications:

• Valid state nursing license required; pending licenses are not accepted.
• Minimum of 2 years recent, continuous OR circulator experience.
• Epic experience preferred; candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to float across multiple campuses including Ontario, Bucyrus, and Galion.
• Strong knowledge of surgical protocols, sterilization procedures, and patient safety standards.
• Must demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
