Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Multi-Licensed Staff Pharmacist role within a specialty pharmacy setting located in Nashville, TN. This contract-to-hire position offers the chance to work in a low volume environment, focusing on complex and impactful patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive clinical pharmaceutical care for patients with hemophilia, immune deficiencies, autoimmune disorders, and other conditions requiring infused drug therapies.
• Manage therapy-specific protocols including factor replacement therapies, emicizumab, and a wide range of subcutaneous and IV infusions for chronic illnesses.
• Educate patients and families on medication administration, side effect management, adherence, and safe home handling of infused therapies.
• Coordinate care by partnering closely with physicians, nurses, and in-house care coordinators to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with reimbursement specialists to navigate insurance plans, obtain prior authorizations, and connect patients with financial assistance programs.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current Tennessee Pharmacist License is required.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain multiple state pharmacist licenses.
• Experience with CareTend software is highly desirable; training will be provided if needed.
• Strong clinical knowledge of specialty infusion medications and therapies.
• Excellent communication skills for patient education and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
