Responsibilities Supervise CFY temporary licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards. Adhere to department and patient treatment schedules, timely clinical and billing documentation, and work‑related meetings. Attend and contribute to patient‑care, staffing, and related meetings. Make referrals to other disciplines and agencies to meet the patient’s comprehensive needs. Consult with the rehabilitation team and physician to select the most appropriate therapeutic regimen for each patient. Adapt program and/or plan of care based on individual patient needs. Promote a safe environment and eliminate fire and safety hazards. Order supplies and equipment as necessary. Clean, maintain, and report equipment repairs. Prioritize patient service to ensure residents and families receive the highest quality care in a compassionate setting that respects individual needs and rights. Screen, examine, and evaluate patients, synthesize information, interpret findings, establish diagnoses, identify impairments, predict improvement levels and timelines, and design treatment plans. Develop treatment goals and implement the speech‑language pathology plan, maintaining all related documentation. Provide therapy in the following areas: cognitive‑communication speech intelligibility oral‑motor skills swallowing disorders/dysphagia perceptual abilities orientation memory pragmatics psychosocial expression functional communication case‑management skills in the home and community Coordinate acquisition of adaptive communication devices and instruct patients in their use. Facilitate hearing deficit identification and refer appropriately for assessment, diagnosis, rehabilitation, or personal amplification. Select activities suited to the patient’s physical and mental capacity, intelligence level, and interests. Instruct patients in skills and techniques needed for therapeutic activities and evaluate progress, attitudes, and behavior related to rehabilitation potential. Perform routine reexaminations as needed to modify or progress the treatment plan. Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team and referring physician in the home and community. Perform other related duties as required. Qualifications Must hold a valid Speech‑Language Pathologist license in the state(s) of practice or proof of license eligibility. Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable, independent transportation to patients’ residences. Posted salary range: USD $41.00 – $61.00 per hour. #J-18808-Ljbffr
