Clerk Deca Store Supervisor

The person in this role will manage the day-to-day operations of the store, located on the high school campus. Essential functions include performing various clerical duties, answering telephones, coordinating ordering and displaying of merchandise, supervising students working in the store, selling tickets to school events, supervising the DECA club activities, and assisting the supervising teacher in the classroom when required. Knowledge and skills required include familiarity with federal, state, county, and city statutes, Peoria Unified School District policies, typing, handling money, communication, and operating a personal computer. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and two years of clerical experience, with retail experience preferred. Other requirements include obtaining an IVP fingerprint clearance card, passing a background clearance check, and the ability to lift and carry supplies up to 20 pounds. May be required to work outside normal working hours.
