Affordable Law Center is a growing boutique law firm in Palm Beach County seeking an Associate Attorney to join our team.

Whether this will be your first attorney position or your next one, we care less about the number of years on your résumé and more about finding the right person .

At Affordable Law Center, you won’t be stuck in the background.

You’ll work directly with clients, participate in case strategy, draft substantive pleadings and motions, prepare for hearings and mediations, and gain real courtroom experience.

Newer attorneys receive hands-on mentorship and practical training . Attorneys with experience are given the opportunity to take greater ownership of cases, sharpen their litigation skills, and grow into increased responsibility.

Our primary practice is family law , but Affordable Law Center is a general practice firm serving clients across a variety of legal needs.

You will have opportunities to gain experience in civil litigation, probate, guardianship, estate planning, landlord-tenant matters, appeals, and other areas of general practice.

You will:

• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and correspondence

• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts

• Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, and trials

• Participate meaningfully in case strategy

• Analyze and develop cases rather than simply complete assignments

• Take increasing ownership of cases based on your experience and abilities

• Work directly with the firm’s founder in a collaborative environment

If you’re early in your career and aren’t ready to spend the next five years doing only one thing, you may fit very well here.

Typical office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Salary: $75,000–$100,000, based on experience and demonstrated ability
