• Troubleshoot, program, and repair PLC-driven equipment to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and repair facility infrastructure: structures, building and grounds, electrical and heating systems, plumbing, and machine repair.
• Service and optimize hydraulic systems across a variety of equipment.
• Perform automation and robotics support, machine shop fabrication, and preventive maintenance using specialized instruments.
• Alter/repair tools, fixtures, gauges, and guarding through machining and bench operations.
• Collaborate with engineers and external vendors to resolve complex equipment and process issues efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Train team members, delegate tasks, give performance input to the supervisor, and help address and resolve workplace concerns.
• Pitch in as needed with other assigned duties.

What we’re looking for

• Advanced diagnostic ability across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic domains.
• Proven leadership plus strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of tooling practices and their applications.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Fluent in English and the primary language used at the site.

Background

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in a technical maintenance role utilizing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills.

Physical and environmental expectations

• Lift/carry engines, components, and materials of different sizes and weights; the supervisor will provide the essential physical requirements for each role.
• Occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling, and reaching during 8–12 hour shifts.
• Continuous standing/walking for full 8–12 hour shifts.
• Extended use of power and vibrating tools.
• Exposure to noise levels requiring hearing protection for the duration of the shift.
• Operation of motorized vehicles throughout a full shift.
