Job Overview MRI Technologist for Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR. Full‑time evening shift. Compensation and Benefits Sign‑on bonus of $6,000 for eligible external candidates under conditions. Base pay range: $46.81–$72.66 per hour. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Responsibilities The MRI Tech performs Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated MRI equipment and accounting for individual patient special or age‑related needs. Uses knowledge and judgment regarding imaging factors, technique, and patient treatment to produce optimal images. Qualifications Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License upon hire (or temporary license). New graduates must hold an OBMI temporary license and obtain a permanent license within six months of hire. National Provider BLS (American Heart Association) upon hire. National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or National Certified MRI Technologist from American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists within six months (180 days) of hire.
