Agile Program Manager - Digital

Responsibilities Lead Agile program planning, execution, and reporting across multiple IT cross‑functional teams. Monitor program and/or value stream, capacity, risks, and performance metrics to ensure successful delivery; may also oversee budget for assigned programs. Facilitate communication between teams and proactively resolve cross‑team impediments. Track and report on key program metrics such as OKRs, delivery milestones, and value delivery. Champion Agile ways of working and continuous improvement across teams; support Agile ceremonies, retrospectives, and governance reporting. Provide regular updates and escalations to senior leadership and stakeholders. Conduct quarterly portfolio planning sessions connecting with other portfolios for cross‑functional efforts. Collaborate with other Program Managers to manage interdependencies and shared resources. Guide teams through Agile best practices without being framework‑prescriptive. Key Skills Agile program management and cross‑team coordination. Experience leading or establishing value streams. Budget management/oversight. Resource planning in Agile settings. Risk and issue management at scale. Facilitation and conflict resolution across delivery teams. Agile metrics and value‑driven performance tracking. Communication and reporting to senior stakeholders. Enterprise architecture and technical delivery awareness. Demand management and capacity balancing. Change management and continuous improvement leadership. Collaboration with Product, Technology, and Business teams. Ability to think end‑to‑end and understand the big picture. Influence at various levels of the organizational hierarchy. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or comparable experience. 5+ years of experience managing programs in Agile delivery environments. Strong knowledge of Agile and waterfall principles, delivery methods, and metrics. Experience in highly regulated, large enterprise settings with matrixed teams and complex dependencies. Proven track record of managing cross‑functional initiatives with senior visibility. Experience with Strategic Portfolio Management tools (ServiceNow). Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g., Jira). Preferred Qualifications Experience in healthcare, finance, or other regulated industries. Experience with value stream mapping and optimization. Experience with Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). PMP, PgMP, or Agile certifications such as CSP‑SM, PMI‑ACP, ICP‑APM. Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt). Exposure to both product‑based and project‑based funding models. Experience navigating transitions from traditional project delivery methods to Agile, with strong change management and interpersonal skills. Managing digital products and initiatives.
