Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Inspector

FIRE ALARM & SPRINKLER INSPECTOR - Eagan, MN Wintegrity is searching for a Fire Alarm & Sprinkler Inspector to join a growing life safety team in Eagan, MN. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience inspecting and testing fire alarm and sprinkler systems while ensuring compliance with NFPA standards and local fire codes. This role includes a mix of office responsibilities and travel to client sites throughout the region.

- NICET Certification (Level I or higher) in Fire Alarm Systems, Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems, or equivalent certification is preferred .
- Working knowledge of NFPA codes, including NFPA 25, NFPA 72, and local fire and building codes.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and document system deficiencies accurately.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel to multiple client sites.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm and sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards, local codes, and client requirements
- Identify, document, and report system deficiencies and recommend corrective actions or upgrades
- Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports, including test results and compliance findings
- Ensure systems remain compliant with all federal, state, and local fire and life safety regulations
- Communicate inspection results and maintenance recommendations directly with clients
- Collaborate with service technicians and internal team members to resolve identified issues in a timely manner
- Maintain knowledge of fire alarm and sprinkler system manufacturers, models, and evolving industry standards
- Follow OSHA safety regulations and company safety procedures at all times
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
- Travel to multiple client sites throughout the workweek as needed
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in fire alarm and sprinkler inspection, maintenance, or related field

- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- NICET Certification (Level I or higher) preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to walk construction sites and uneven terrain
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working in confined spaces
- Ability to work at heights and in indoor/outdoor environments
- Consistent use of PPE and adherence to OSHA safety requirements
- Ability to travel up to 40%
