Aunt Ann's In-House Staffing's Client Location: Belmont CA Job Type: Part Time Category: Childcare Position: Experienced & Child-Led Nanny / FA Needed in Belmont (30 hours/week) Schedule: Monday to Friday 1 - 6 PM [flexibility for 12pm start, if open to broader household tasks] Salary Amount or Range: $40-$48/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays) Children: 6-year-old boy Pets: n/a Bay Area Region: Mid Peninsula Description Start: April or August 2026 A family in Belmont is seeking an experienced Nanny / Family Assistant to help with household tasks and care for their 6-year-old son who is curious, sociable, and very articulate. Responsibilities include pick-up from school, creating enriching activities and engaging in play or reading, meal prep or light cooking for the family, light tidying, and family laundry. The best person for them genuinely enjoys supporting kids and families, is a good role model and familiar with child-led play. Candidates will ideally have a reliable vehicle for work-related driving (family reimburses for mileage) and some background in child development or early childhood education. Experience Requirements 3 years minimum working as a nanny / family assistant with excellent verifiable references Educational Requirements Fluency in English Child development / ECE background preferable but not required Qualifications COVID-vaccinated preferred (ok if not up to date on latest booster but having done full course at some point preferred) TB and Tdap CPR Certified Valid driver with clean record (ideally with personal vehicle for work-related driving; family will reimburse for mileage and provide a car seat) Genuinely enjoys supporting kids and families Familiar supporting child with peanut allergy Patient and supportive of child's emotional and social development Is a good role model Familiar with child-led play Excellent communication Seeking at least a year commitment; ideally longer Responsibilities School pick up Driving Create enriching activities, engaging in reading, etc. Following child's afternoon routine Meal prep / light cooking for the family (peanut allergy) Lunch and snack prep for child (peanut allergy) Family laundry Light tidying (child's room, play areas, common spaces) Option for additional household chores or errands if seeking extra hours, such as meal prep for family, family laundry, dropping / picking up dry cleaning & packages, etc. #J-18808-Ljbffr Aunt Ann’s In-House Staffing
