Overview • Department: Emergency Services • Schedule: Nights, 7p-7a, full-time, rotating weekends and holidays • Facility: Prime Healthcare Saint Joseph Medical Center • Location: Joliet, IL 60435 Responsibilities The Technician in the Emergency Department is an unlicensed non-certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Current EMT Certification or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), if required by the State Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current. Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $18.00 to $26.68. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
