Job Title: Platform Architect - CIS AWS Infrastructure Role Overview: The Platform Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and resilient AWS cloud infrastructure solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud architecture aligns with business objectives and industry best practices.


Key Responsibilities: • Architecture Design: o Develop and maintain AWS cloud architecture frameworks for enterprise applications. o Design solutions for high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery. • Cloud Strategy & Governance: o Define cloud adoption strategies and migration plans. o Ensure compliance with CIS benchmarks and security standards. • Infrastructure Automation: o Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. o Automate deployment pipelines and operational tasks. • Performance & Cost Optimization: o Monitor and optimize AWS resources for performance and cost efficiency. o Recommend reserved instances, auto-scaling, and right-sizing strategies. • Security & Compliance: o Apply AWS security best practices (IAM, encryption, network security). o Conduct regular audits and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. • Collaboration & Leadership: o Work closely with DevOps, application teams, and stakeholders. o Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Strong experience in AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, etc.). • Expertise in cloud architecture and design patterns. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation). Knowledge of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices. AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional) or similar certification preferred.
