Responsibilities: Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations. Comply with all DOT regulations and company policies to ensure safety and legal operation of vehicles. Plan and follow the most efficient routes using maps and GPS technology to meet delivery schedules. Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical safety and report any issues promptly. Communicate effectively with Logistics Supervisor, warehouse personnel, and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues. Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle to ensure it remains in good working condition. Minimum Qualifications: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A. Proven experience in truck driving with knowledge of DOT regulations. Ability to read and following delivery schedule and BOL instructions. Flat bed experience & proven ability to secure load with straps Physical ability to secure load. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years experience as an OTR driver. Strong customer service skills to directly interface with warehouse personnel at Patriot customer locations.
