Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This is a full-time position, although part-time options can be discussed. The hospital sees dogs and cats and is looking for a veterinarian to provide high-quality care across a varied small animal caseload.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of general practice responsibilities, including internal medicine, wellness and preventive care, surgery, dentistry, and more. The role offers flexibility with scheduling and doctor hours are open to discussion. The opportunity is suitable for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is well-equipped with digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, in-house laboratories, and additional modern veterinary equipment. Facilities include a dedicated surgical suite, dental suite, and in-house pharmacy. The practice provides a full scope of GP services, including wellness care, preventative medicine, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry. Hospital hours are Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The hospital is supported by a great team of support staff and promotes a collaborative working environment where veterinarians can work closely together and support one another.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
