Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) in an urban healthcare facility. This role involves providing care for post-operative patients, including those recovering from general and bariatric surgeries, as well as overflow medical cases. The position requires adaptability and strong patient advocacy to deliver quality care during night shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts from 1900 to 0730, rotating days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) with at least 1 year of experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with drains, proficiency with electronic medical records such as Epic, and a background in post-surgical or med/surg units.
• Additional Information: The role involves working with post-op patients from general and bariatric surgeries, including overflow medical patients. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility, strong teamwork, and effective time management skills. There is a dress code requiring navy blue scrubs. Education modules will be assigned upon hire and must be completed before reporting to the floor.
