Job Summary:
The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-based registered nurse (RN) position specializes in intensive care unit (ICU) boarders in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU). This role involves providing direct patient care to trauma overflow patients within the PACU setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

• Required Qualifications: Licenses: PA Registered Nurse License Required; Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Required; Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Degree: Bachelor's Degree (Preferred); Experience: 1 year experience in area of clinical specialty (Preferred).
• Responsibilities include assessing, implementing, and evaluating patient care under the supervision of the licensed physician, collaborating with the healthcare team, and directing nursing support staff according to standards and policies.
• Additional Information: The RN may float to emergency department (ED) for ICU holds or to other ICU/Stepdown units based on need and census. The operating hours are Monday 7am to Saturday 7pm, with no Sundays.
