Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Proven experience working within a Level 4 NICU, including neonatal ventilator management
• Demonstrated competency in the care of infants and children following cardiac transplant
• Knowledge of specialized equipment and interventions for complex pediatric and neonatal respiratory cases
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required; PALS certification preferred
• Strong documentation skills and ability to follow protocols precisely
• Flexibility, excellent communication, and a collaborative approach with physicians and nursing staff

Typical Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-level respiratory care to critically ill neonates and pediatric cardiac transplant patients
• Administer and monitor advanced respiratory therapies, including mechanical ventilation, surfactant administration, and oxygen therapy
• Perform assessments, initiate interventions, and modify care plans based on changing patient conditions
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, contributing expertise to patient care decisions
