We're seeking a Licensed Funeral Director to join our Pennsylvania team, splitting time between our Hoffman and Dugan Funeral Home locations . You’ll be a trusted presence for families navigating grief, a steady hand behind the scenes, and a mentor to the people growing alongside you. What You’ll Do Lead funeral services that truly reflect each family's wishes and honor the life lived Guide families through the arrangement process with compassion, patience, and clarity Prepare the deceased for viewing, including embalming and cosmetic work Stay current and compliant with all legal and regulatory requirements Strengthen community ties through meaningful outreach and relationship building Invest in the next generation by mentoring junior associates and funeral interns Why Vertin You've been called to serve others. Let us add your story to our legacy. Qualifications Active funeral director licensure in Pennsylvania, or a willingness to obtain it. Degree in mortuary science from an accredited program. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a funeral home setting. Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to communicate effectively with grieving families. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with various communication platforms. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
