General Warehouse Associate

Warehouse Associate Pick & Pack / Shipping & Receiving

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our distribution team. This position is responsible for accurately picking, packing, receiving, and shipping a variety of products, including clothing, footwear, beauty products, and general merchandise. The ideal candidate will work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders accurately using pick tickets, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems.
• Pack orders securely to ensure products arrive in excellent condition.
• Verify product quantities, sizes, colors, SKUs, and order accuracy before shipment.
• Receive inbound shipments and inspect merchandise for damage or discrepancies.
• Unload, sort, label, and organize inventory into designated warehouse locations.
• Prepare outbound shipments by printing labels, sealing cartons, and staging orders for carrier pickup.
• Process returns, exchanges, and damaged merchandise according to company procedures.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock replenishment.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and RF scanners.
• Keep workstations and warehouse areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines at all times.
• Meet daily productivity, quality, and attendance expectations.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, or shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Bend, squat, kneel, reach, and twist throughout the workday.
• Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or flexible schedules as business needs require.

Work Environment
