Your Responsibilities

• Conducting detailed patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostics, and devising tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues alongside physicians or independently based on your credentials
• Empowering patients and their families on prevention, wellness, and chronic disease strategies
• Prescribing treatments and medications within your scope of practice

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Needed

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
