Food Service Worker

Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Food Service Worker who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Food Service Worker, you will:

• Be responsible for preparing food and following standardized recipes 100% of the time.
• Be responsible for Stocking Items to be sold.
• Be responsible for adhering to HACCP guidelines.
• Be responsible for Hazzard Analysis and Critical Control Points.
• Must follow Department Policies and Procedures on cleaning.
• Other Duties as Assigned

Qualifications include:

• High School diploma or GED; relevant work experience considered in lieu of.
• Minimum 1 year food service experience preferred; willing to train.
• ServSafe or be able to pass ServSafe within 60 days.

Work Schedule:

Employment Type: Part-time

Hours per Week: 20 hrs/week

Typical Daily Schedule: Monday thru Friday; Rotating Shifts between 6:00a - 2:00p, 6:30a-3:00p, 7:00a-3:00p, 9:00a-5:30p, 10:30a-7:00p, or 3:45p-8:00p

Shift Type: Rotating Shift

Weekend Requirements: Required every other weekend

Holiday Requirements: Required Follow company holiday calendar

Shift Differential Eligible: Yes

The hours are based on the needs of the positions assigned within the department. Averages 3 or 4 shifts weekly.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.79

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as: United States of America (Non-Exempt)
