Night Shift Supervisor

Overview

Responsible for overseeing the maintenance, upkeep, and operations of a facility's buildings, equipment, and systems during specific shift. This includes managing a team of maintenance personnel, scheduling task, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining the facility's optimal operating condition.

Pay: $77,043.20 per year

 The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance personnel during assigned shifts.
• Assign, prioritize, and monitor maintenance work orders and daily tasks.
• Ensure facility equipment, building systems, and infrastructure are maintained in safe and efficient operating condition.
• Conduct routine inspections and address operational or maintenance concerns as needed.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime and service disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to support maintenance and facility activities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and shift operations.
• Respond to facility emergencies and assist in resolving operational issues.
• Provide training, guidance, and performance support to maintenance team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Facilities Management, Industrial Maintenance, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
• Previous experience leading or supervising maintenance personnel.
• Knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance practices, and facility operations.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, maintenance schedules, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
